I've carried Candice's remarkable essential oils and magical amulets for a couple of years now, and continue to be more and more impressed with the power and beauty of these oils and amulets. Laura Plumb's Food: A Love Story
I love this blog by Laura. She is the wife of my yoga teacher, Bhava Ram here in San Diego. They both teach a form of yoga called Deep Yoga, and practice the Ayurvedic lifestyle of balanced nutrition, with a balanced emotional and spiritual life.
In her blog, Laura offers a collection of nourishing recipes, ideas, photographs and links to help feed you ~ with a gentle reminder that throughout time, and now more than ever, the best medicine always has been nature’s nourishment. Rodney Schwan, Aromatherapist Extraordinaire
I've been working with Rodney for a few months now, and I believe he is a true wizard. He is a master aromatherapist, massage therapist, and integrative medicine consultant, and he is truly changing lives. (See his website).
I had the honor of helping Rodney promote his Sacred Art of Wellness workshop here in San Diego this past month. The workshop was a great success, and everyone was moved and inspired by his wealth of knowledge on the subject of the power of scent over wellness. Both Boyd and I were deeply impressed with his one-on-one sessions, with Boyd reporting that it changed his life.
Rodney is in the unique position of using aromatherapy alongside allopathic medicine doctors at the Institute of Palliative Medicine for the San Diego Hospice. The organization is one of the largest hospice and palliative care programs in the United States. More than 800 hospice staff and 600 volunteers annually care for over 4,000 adult and pediatric patients and their families, as well as more than 12,000 bereaved clients. Rodney is there with his angelic presence, deep metaphysical understanding, and his amazing aromatherapy.
